Meet The Founders

Hi, I’m Pedro, the founder of Jungle Five Dock.
For over 15 years, I’ve been training in martial arts, strength training, and movement.
Through this journey, I’ve come to believe that training isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s about building discipline, resilience, and the freedom to live life with strength and confidence.
During the 2020 lockdowns, I went through a difficult period with depression and anxiety. That experience strengthened my mission to create a space where people can reconnect with their values, rebuild confidence, and take ownership of their lives through movement.
Today, Jungle is a place where we train with intention — focusing on strength, mobility, longevity, and personal growth.

Hi, I’m Yulia, co-founder of Jungle Five Dock.
I started my journey in movement as an elite rhythmic gymnast in Russia, where I earned the title of Master of Sports.
From a young age, I developed a deep appreciation for discipline, precision, and the power of consistent training.
My passion for movement continued through five years of Capoeira training with Pedro, which eventually led us to create Jungle together with a shared mission: to help people become stronger, healthier, and more confident in their bodies and lives.
With a degree in Biochemical Technology and a Nutrition certification in Australia, I combine science with practical habits that people can actually sustain. I often describe myself as a lifestyle engineer, helping members improve not just their workouts, but their daily routines and long-term health.
Outside the gym, I’m also a proud mother of three, constantly balancing family, training, and wellbeing.

Yes. The program is designed specifically for busy adults. Sessions are structured, efficient, and scheduled in advance so you know exactly what to do when you arrive. Many of our members balance work, family, and other commitments — consistency becomes much easier when the structure is already built for you.
Completely normal. Many people who join Jungle felt the same way at first. The environment is welcoming and supportive, and the training is scaled to your current level. You don’t need to be fit to start — the program is designed to help you rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence gradually.
In most cases, yes. Training is designed to be joint-friendly and focused on improving mobility and strength safely. We also begin with an assessment to understand your starting point, including any previous injuries or limitations, so exercises can be adjusted accordingly.
Many members begin to notice improvements in energy, mobility, and strength within the first few weeks. The 28-day intro program is designed to help you feel those early changes while building the foundation for long-term progress.
